- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Had my 2 monrh old sons vaccines scheduled for this past Friday, they call me to see if I wanted to come in earlier for my appt. But when I get there they do the check up and tell me their fridge broke so they had to send all of their vaccines to Paulding well star across the street, and to call back Monday someone should be out to work on it tomorrow. So I call on Monday, the receptionist seemed to have no care in the world, just told me "oh, I don't believe I've heard anything about the fridge working, call back on Wednesday". Why am I told to call back on Wednesday when I was told to call back on Monday? If not mon day you'd think they'd have an update by Tuesday right?? I mean their fridge has been down since THURSDAY. So anyways, call back today (Tuesday) and now I'm being told they're hoping it gets fixed sometime this week?!? That's it. I've had it with this location, and let me explain why: Here's my question, why didn't anyone think to tell me when they called me on the phone that they couldn't do his vaccines?? Also, this is a doctor's office, why is there no back up fridge in case something like this happens? This office is attached to a OBGYN that I know for a fact has a fridge they could store their vaccines in and just go across the hall to get the vaccines. Why not send a nurse that can give the vaccines to Paulding hospital so peoplease could just go there to get their kids vaccines? Why can't the doctors office just buy a new fridge to keep their medicine rather than inconveniencing their patients for over a weeks time span. I'm taking my son to another pediatrician office, and my main goal is to make sure whoever it is is not tied into wellstar!September 14, 2017by Stephanie Stephens
